Aphasia, noun. Partial or total loss of the ability to articulate ideas or comprehend spoken or written language, resulting from damage to the brain caused by injury or disease.

At the time i started this project i was reading a lot of Joseph Campbell and really taking my photography seriously. Somehow there was a connection between the images i was taking, even a few i had taken some years ago and what i was reading by JC. So i created this personal project based on the text of Joseph Campbell, except for the page taken from Solaris by Stanislaw Lem, and the comment about the Asian kid. It made perfect sense to let JC speak for me sense at the time there were millions of ideas running around in my head, but for various reasons i couldnt articulate them.

from atl to lax

The latest photo journal is a quick peek at the three day drive across the country from atlanta, georgia to los angeles, california. It took roughly 40 hours with our one stop for dinner in New Mexico.
